6months

Look closely, because this is the last picture where you will see a toothless grin emanating from Marlowe's twinkling face. Yes, no more gummy pictures for us. The baby has two teeth. I tried to tell him that he had to wait for Santa Claus to bring them, but then he pointed out that those were for the front teeth. Attention to detail. That's what I like in a kid.

He had his well-baby checkup this morning, and he is indeed well. He weighed 15.5 pounds (12th%) and I forgot the height, but it was like 25 percentile. He also shocked the pediatrician with the news that he is crawling. Well, mostly. He's making the transition from army scooch to proper all-fours crawl.

Remember how heartily I touted yoga during my prenancy? well, it seems to have had a lasting effect, because Marlowe routinely does Downward facing dog while he plays. He looks like he's ready to begin a sprint.

Don't forget to check out his mad growling skillz.

And you know those so-called solid foods? he eschews them. No, not chew. Eschew. Which means he prefers that they not enter his mouth. Maybe soon. We keep trying. He got his very own spoons in his Dec 3 Advent present.

And that is Marlowe at six months.

Oh, he so cute. I could tell on your video that he and Ladybug are very close developmentally, althoug M could probably eat her , but that's ok. She does th army crawl and gets up on hands and knees and does this twisting thing with her rear that I saw him do in the video. It's so fun. Ladybug has also been watching her hand, working on the wave. Can M sit up? We can't really do that yet and I am starting to get a little concerned.

Anyway, Happy 6 months :) I can't believe how different he looks from E, do you find that to be true?

What an adorable pic!
