back wrap
Today Marlowe graduated to the back wrap cross. He's getting to be big boy. I'm still pretty new to wrapping, so I didn't feel confident back carrying him when he was younger, though it's entirely possible (see Africa). But he's seems pretty happy now. I'm still trying to get my mind around throwing a wrap over my shoulder. But I think after a few times, it'll get easier.
I might also add, that the kid with amazing wiggles who has been trying to nap all morning, fell promptly asleep. (too bad you can't wear your baby in the shower)
I love wraps, because they're so versatile, soft, and, well, a little mysterious and cool. Though we are currently pretty huge fans of the pouch sling for grocery store runs.
Okay. Off to finish the dishes before the water gets cold.

hey, hotslings has a water-proof sling, for the pool. It'd work in the shower. Although, somehow I doubt a baby would appreciate that. :) ha

Gypsy Mama makes a water wrap good for showering, there are actually a number of options ;)
It's great to see you back wrapping! Try Jordan's back carry if you want some variety...

Marlowe's hair is getting lighter!!! Maybe he will be blonde like Ellis! =D
Good job on the back cross.
Good job on the back cross. I tried it a few times but not enough to feel comfortable with it. I found it hard to get used to wrapping the baby when I couldn't see what I was doing. I plan to try more with Aimée. It is certainly easier to work with a baby on your back than your front!
Missing you!
He is just so durn cute!!

Just catching up on your blog and Marlowe is so adorable! Love the back wrap here too. And thanks for the Letterman video next because I missed it the other night and didn't have the time to look for it. Ha Ha he's great.

Ah, I loved my sling, especially in the pool when I was trying to keep track of a 3 and 5 year old.
